Scout Backpacking Adventure

On the tail end of the Young's visit Tucker had a scout backpacking trip.  By all reports he did awesome and was the only one to catch a fish.  What great adventures this kid gets to have! Grateful for awesome leaders.
They did get hailed and stormed on.  As the rain was pelting us I was worried for the boys.  But they were fine.  Just one more element of adventure.

Good things there weren't moms there because, ACK.  Tucker still would go no matter what danger:

The Youngs Came to Visit!

We were lucky to get a visit from the Youngs.  We loved having them here.  Lots of fun with cousins.  We went for a Sunday morning walk along Thomas Creek and hit the kids fort and the rope swing:

After watching the world cup final some soccer was played at the park:
The next morning this little crew went out for an adventure by the creek:
We swam that afternoon and came home and watched a magnificent thunder storm.  Everyone was impressed:
There was plenty of time spent riding in the driveway:

 We made it to Tahoe:

 Ain't they cute?
We spent a day at Wild Island, a waterpark:

I showed the kids how to play bump:
We met up with our mutual friends the Hurrles who live in Reno, for pazookies:
We had another Tahoe trip, which was stormy with lots of lightning, which was super cool:

Lucy loves Beck and Beck loves Lucy.  That kid is awesome.  Clara kept saying everything was "freakin' awesome," (ugh).  Beck, who forgot her name temporarily asked, "Why does the small one always say fweekin' awesome?"

We took them to Pho, because YUM!

We had so much fun with them and we are so glad they came.  Here is Clara seeing them off in the proper Taylor fashion.  "Run with us!"
