Utah Summers

It was another Utah summer filled with our favorites.
Canal walks"

I met up with Challey for dinner at Black Sheep and it was great to get caught up.

Movies and dinners out:

Summer rain storm (these were disappointingly few)

A trip to Meyer Gallery in Park City
Emily and her dog
One night we did S'mores.  The temp was over 100.  Not my finest idea.  Sort of miserable actually. But we tried.

Clara got her ear's repierced.  We did it at Claire's a few years ago and they did a terrible job so she let the holes close up the last couple of years.  I have since heard that the place to go for ear piercing is tatoo/piercing places because they know what they are doing.  So we did. And it was great.  The guy was really good and it is much better.

Rob and Jamie took this eager crew up to the Y early one morning to beat the heat.

Uintah Mountains withe the Fam Damily

We drove up to the Uintahs the day after we arrived in UT (Lubert was in DC for Colonial Inaguration at GW).  It was beautiful, but FREEZING.  It was in the 40's and we were dressed for the 70's.

The picnic involved jumping around to keep the blood pumping and huddling together for warmth.

We walked around the lake and the heat absorbed by the dark benches didn't provide as much warmth as hoped for.

Such an incredibly beautiful place and worth the cold.
