Setting Up

The day before and the day of the reception were mostly taken up by set up.   (well for my mom it had been months of set up...but our participation began a few days before). Some watched movies.  Some of us puffed up the pom's my mom made. 

 Amy, Michelle Daniels, and I jimmy-rigged a burlap wall to cover up some of the yard clutter that was destroying the view upon arrival.

 Millie did the flowers, cause she is amazing:

 Family and friends poured into town from all over the country.  Achilles was a welcome arrival.  Happy little guy.

 Everyone was dying to dive into the pool, but alas, it didn't happen:

Katy's Bridal Shower

We drove into Utah on Monday and on Tuesday the day was spent shopping and prepping for Katy's shower.  These girls made the banner:

The party was at Amy's lovely home.  And it turned out great:
