Spring Break: Provo Part 3

These may not be out of order but I don't have the patience to make this all perfecto and I need to get caught up.  So here it goes.  We hiked the Y one morning.  Good fun (except some of us have gimpy knees and such and steep hikes are a challenge).  Funny we ran into the Welton's from our ward.  We ran into them in SF and Disneyland.  May as well start vacationing together:

 We saw this fun movie:
We absorbed some Vitamin D with our porch sitting:

 We ate at Pizzeria:

 And had a creamery feast:

On Thursday we headed home.  It was a lovely vacation.  We had a great time!

Spring Break: Provo Part 2

Monday was a lovely day and we headed up to the Great and Spacious Mall.  Shoes were purchased.  Then some shopped and others went to the JS building and conference center:

We reunited on temple square.  Anders claimed he always wondered what high heels felt like.  His big moment:

After lunch at the CC food court we went back to temple square where the kids did a scavenger hunt.  Kind of fun:

This was one of the things they had to find, as was the water pump, and eagle:

Back home Lucy played with the camera and then the munchkins were sent to Ollie and Meg's to fetch some leftovers for dinner.  They chose to do this military style:

Lucy had fun with a selfie:

Clara ate her $5.00 pb cup:

Then it was time to try Sodalicious.   That Provo is so trendy.  The owners are making a killing I'm sure:

Spring Break: Provo, Part 1

On Friday we went to the Provo Rec. Center.  Reno lacks many many many things.  A Rec center is top among them.  This is such a great facility.  I'm super jealous.  On the hour they kick all kids under 15 out of the pool for 10 minutes.  These two pretended they made the cut and enjoyed having the pool all to themselves.  There are all kinds of fun stuff, climbing wall, diving platform, lazy river, water slides.  Hours of kids magic fun:

That night we ate at the fairly mediocre Janet's.  I didn't understand the hype.  Apparently it's the prices?:

Rob and I have been wanting to buy some Utah art so we went up Saturday to Park City with my parents to look at some galleries.  Apparently the PC galleries weren't the ones we needed to visit.  It's the SLC ones with the good stuff.  Oh well, it was a fun little adventure, with lunch at Whole Foods:

Saturday Night my parents went to Bombay House with Debby Gibbs who was in town, and some of the menfolk went to Priesthood Session. Those that didn't joined the ladies for some delicious communally made carbonara with ice cream to top it off.  This was the end of Rob's spring Break because he had to fly back to Reno in the am so he could fund our playtime.
