December Festivities

Right after Thanksgiving was over we got the Christmas season going at out house with the decorate the tree party:

Toffee and gingersnaps were made and delivered:

 We made it to see the Lights at Tenea with a visit at the Swanger's who live next door:

 A fun new tradition we incorporated was Advent:

We hosted Christmas Eve dinner at our house.  The Hart's didn't make it because of flu, but the Montez fam came.  We had prime rib and lots of good fixins.

A Very Good Thanksgiving

This year we were invited to our friend's the Koelling's for Thanksgiving.  It was funny because Emily called me and said, I don't know how to say this without sounding rude, but we are pretty picky about Thanksgiving.  As she continued I laughed because we were on the same page.  Real cranberries, no stove top, real gravy, etc.  It was a match made in heaven.  We did most of our prep the day before:

Lucy Turned 15!

One minute you have a little baby on your hands and then suddenly you don't!  And it is crazy how fast it goes.  Beautiful, talented, funny Lucy is 15.  She celebrated with her friend Jenni (movie, shopping, lunch), and dinner out and brownies with us.  I can't even imagine what life is going to be like about 3 years from now.  Won't think about it. I won't I won't I won't.
