Scout Camps

Tucker headed to Wyoming for a week of canoeing on the river up near the Wind River range (I had to go pick him up early so we could head to England and can testify that it was pretty amazing scenery).  Apparently Tucker was a rockstar on the river.  He and Matt were in the same boat and were some of the only ones never to get swamped.  Anders headed to Camp Fleicshman in the Sierra's up near Lassen.  Both had grand times and got lots of sun and lots of bug bites. It was a little sad Rob couldn't go with them (well maybe not for him). 

Cousin's Visit, Need For Speed

The kids went for this.  Everyone had fun.  Except Clara who wanted hers to go slow.  She was crying about it.  So they powered hers down so it went REALLY slow.  She was furious.  I tried to explain they did what she asked, but she didn't get it.  Lots of tears for her.  Lots of laughs for us. 

 The following morning we said goodbye.  Sad.  

Cousins visit, Yosemite!

Emily and I decided to get everyone up at the crack of dawn and drive down to Yosemite for the day.  It was an excellent decision.  Incredible!!!  Must spend more time there. 

 With a real winter the waterfalls were gushing. This is Bridal Veil falls.

 We hiked up to something rock (can't remember right now).  It was HARD, but very cool.

 Getting out was a traffic jam.  If you have to be stuck in traffic, this isn't a bad place for it.
