After our Yosemite day we drove to Fresno and found a hotel. After stopping at many we finally found an available room. We were tired so I'm glad we found something. In the morning we headed to Ventura. When we arrived and Christian and Shandra's we got to meet baby Gunnar and hang out for a little. Then we all headed to the county fair. It was a very fun way to spend the afternoon/evening.
After the fair we walked over to a pizza place where Whit, Court, and the girls who had driven up from Oceanside met us. It was a fun evening, although it was a little freezing. I'm pretty sure the world is deceived about Southern California being warm. I'm always cold there.
The next morning we chilled at the C&S's and got to know the babies and had fun on snapchat.
We pulled it together and walked over to the beach. Christian and Shandra only live a couple of blocks away. It was chilly, but I think everyone had a great time anyway.
That evening with Tucker and Anders in charge the 16+ crowd went to dinner. I believe the boys dealt with their first dirty diaper that night. We managed to get a nice sibling shot.
Cute kids.
The next morning we hung out a little bit more at the Ventura Hastings, said goodbye to the Kringel and Homers Hastings, and then had to head back to Reno before heading onto Santa Fe (oh sob).
These two were winning with their twinning on our final morning. It was too brief, but so fun. Love all these peeps.
