This and That, Once Again

Lucy has done some lovely golden hour photography.

We had a spring storm that was maybe the most snow we had all year.  Go figure.

 Enjoying the rain
 Desert in bloom.

 Silly snapchattle
Rob and Anders were gone for a scout river trip and we indulged.  It was the weekend before finals for the big kids and not the best weekend.  Sugar helps, I guess.
Clara had school a few days longer than the others.  She sent this chat.
Anders brought home some of his ceramics creations.  He made some cool stuff, not all of it is pictured.
These two read together most nights.
 Pretty thistle from the yard.
Year end Girl Scout party.  S'mores and an outdoor movie.

Rob caught an obscure diagnosis at work and someone at work gave him this sticker as a prize for being such a good radiologist.
A fun birthday party for one of Clara's friends.

Rob paid by the hour for weed pulling once school was out.  There were some HOT days, but the kids did the work and earned some moolah.

Las Conchas

On an early (at least in the mountains) spring day we decided to explore Las Conchas up in the Jemez mountains.  Such a cool place.  Lots of climbing and the best part is the river!!!  Bella loved it.  Sadly, Tucker had immense amounts of homework and stayed home.

A few weeks later my good friend Aimie from Reno (who has since moved to Vegas) came up for the weekend.  We got to know eachother better when she was going through chemo for breast cancer.  I took her to her post chemo shots, and since she was usually still feeling ok, we would go to lunch sometimes after.  She is amazing and has been through a lot.  Her husband was doing training with the air force in Alamagordo for six months so they drove up and we took them to Los Conchas.  This time climbing gear was packed.  It was starting to green up more.  Fun day.

This three man belay team cracks me up.
