Two Timp Hikes

Emily, Lucy, and I started out with Rob, Tucker, Anders, and Clara.  Within five minutes they were lightyears ahead of us.  We made it as far at the scree but Emily had altitude sickness and I was wary of my knees so we turned back.  But even that much was stunning. 

The other crew made it all the way to the top.  Clara was afraid beforehand that she wouldn't be able to do it.  Of course she just bounced up the trail like a gazelle. 

Albion Meadows

I've been wanting to do this hike for ages.  Oh man.  It was heaven.  The wildflowers were beyond amazing.  Heaven. 

A Roasty Toasty Trip to SLC

We took the train up to SLC with all the cousins.  It was a stinkin' hot day and I think the best part was probably the fountains at City Creek where some cooling down took place.  The worst part was probably when Bea went missing during lunch.  All in all a good day, despite the heat.
