Spring Break Part 1

Crap on a stick I am so so far behind.... ugh.  Anyway, long ago we went to Southern Utah for Spring Break and had a grand time.  We attempted to hike the Needles in the snow.  We had to abort after a valiant effort.  Instead we played around on the beautiful Potholes hike.

The next morning we left Monticello and headed towards Escalante, stopping for a dramatic hike at Natural Bridges, where we hiked from Sipapu Bridge to Katchina Bridge.  Stunning.  The drive from there to Escalante took us past some amazing scenery, among the sites was the location of the boys canyoneering trip last summer and a spectacular drive through the Boulder mountains.  We arrived that evening at our darling "Tiny House" airbnb in Escalante.

The next day we hiked to Zebra slot canyon and discovered Moqui marbles which are strange, plentiful, and cool.  The slot was awesome.  We also went to another slot right by it and Devil's playground (I think that is what it is called.  The Mormon's seemed to name a lot of things after the Devil.)
