MLK Day Sledding

We got some new snow yesterday. We wanted to head up one of the canyons but sadly they were closed.  So instead we headed over to a nearby park for some sledding.  The highlight (lowlight?) was when Tucker picked up such momentum he went right underneath the chain link fence at the bottom of the hill and stopped just short of the fence shredding his face.  Yikes!  The other highlight was Clara really enjoying her runs on her Dad's lap.  I was suprised because frankly the powder spray mixed with the chilly wind was really rather painful, if you ask me.  But she didn't complain.  Maybe that is because of her limited vocabulary, but she was grinning wide.  Sadly I didn't capture any Clara footage.  Next time.

That looks so fun! I would have loved to have seen a little snow this year. Not too much, just a little.

We missed the fun of the fresh snow. Only the shoveling repercussions when we arrived home to a driveway covered with over a foot of snow. That looks like a blast! Call us next time - ok?
