Backpacking in the Sawtooth Mountains.

Our friend Weston invited Rob to join him and his buddies on a big backpacking adventure. Backpacking is Rob's all time favorite thing to do and he was very excited. He had a wonderful time, and thoroughly enjoyed the break from the daily grind in such a beautiful place and he enjoyed the company. Although, as you can see, he needs to get some new hiking shoes. Any recommendations?

Beautiful mountains. Is this your first trout, Rob? Ouch -- those feet!

Ouch ouch ouch. I hope the trip was worth the blisters... it usually is. Spence and I just got great hiking shoes at REI. If you are a member (it's like $30 to join) you can return them even if you have worn them. Love it. Okay Anna, let's start planning our trip now.

I am sure Wes already told Rob how much he looooves his trail runners. No more hiking boots for him!

Oh those blisters look painful! It looks like a fun trip though.

I believe the radiation treatments we discussed yesterday will be helpful on those feet.

That is just wrong! Nothing is worth that! Then again I don't go anywhere unless I can wear flip flops!

How did he possibly make it off the mountain with those blisters? Yikes.

Gorgeous trip, however. I saw the pics on Emily's blog too. It looks amazing and I imagine that Adam will be drooling jealously when he reads the report.
