The Traumatizing of My Children

Any of my siblings remember when Mom made Borscht for dinner? Stupid question, how could we ever forget such a nightmare. This is reminiscent; salmon and rotkhol (oh the horror):

Sorry about the excessive giggling on my part, but it was really funny.

That was really cute! I loved to hear you laughing in the background. You are good sport - always trying new foods with your kids. At least you are not mean mom that forces them to eat it! What's rotkhol anyway? It sounds questionable.

That is so hilarious! I have decided that it's not worth it to force feed my kids and I am also not going to make "safe" dinners. So, my answer now is PB&J. I would love some of your cabbage though. That looked quite tasty.

I love your laughing! At least your kids weren't crying, mine would be (or at least Cai would).

That was really funny! Someday they will love both salmon and rotkohl. Make them keep tasting it.

I think you would probably like borscht now. We should try it for Sunday dinner sometime.

Good for you for trying something different. Even better for you for capturing the reaction on film. It made me laugh.

O.K. so...maybe the kids would have loved Borscht...did you fix cupcakes for dessert? That really throws a wrench into the whole torture for dinner idea. So funny...,
