Last Friday was a beautiful day, so we hiked to Lake Mary up above Brighton. It was slow going with Clara, who had to examine every rock and pebble, but we eventually made it to the lake. It was nice to get up in the mountains.

Very fun hike. So beautiful! Glad I could join!
Beautiful! I love the mountains. Clara looks like she's about ready to pick a fight in one pic. So cute!
Beautiful!! We'll have to try that one sometime.
And I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with an insanely slow moving toddler who has to examine every. single. rock. :) Guess she's normal.
you guys are always doing such fun things, i'm jealous!
see you tonight... :)
You are brave to take a long hike with a slow toddler. We always strap ours into a carrier. =)
I missed the call, again.
D.
Wow - looks beautiful. I'm jealous.
Whew - lots to catch up on. Beautiful photos here. Glad to see the Hastings still wandering the hills (tho I expect no less). I was shocked to read that you are glad that your traditions are so predictable and stable. I don't know where you get that from.
Anyway, back from reading, and I'll be checking in regularly again.
You're such fabulous parents! Good job, Anna & Rob!
