We've been in Utah for a week now and it is going to be hard to go back to Virginia. When all is said and done this really is the place. It has been rejuvenating to see mountains (thank you co-operative weather and no inversion), hike in the mountains, enjoy snow, take long walks, and enjoy beautiful sunsets/sunrises. We've seen so many good friends, eaten at our favorite restaurants (Bombay House, Yamato's, P712, Communal...mmmm). We've been able to play and hang out with family and it has been the best. There will be plenty to blog about but for now here is some footage of one of Rob and kids ski days at Brighton. And man isn't Utah beautiful?

The mountains are beautiful. So glad Rob and the kids are getting to ski.
It is a great place. I love, love, LOVE the Northwest (where I'm originally from), but I can't get Utah out of my system. I miss it terribly when I'm away and seeing the mountains again when I come back makes it feel like home.
Hooray for your visit - it sounds awesome! Hope the rest of your trip is just as great!
I love Utah, for many reasons--not the least of which is its beauty! I'm glad you're having some vacation time here.
