On Thursday we drove down to Mount Vernon. It is always a fun place to visit. The kids got to groom the oxen, and jump off of walls. See what I mean about it always being fun to visit?
We stopped along the Potomac for a picnic. Fun also, despite my awesome face.
And then we toured the Masonic Temple in Alexandria which was quite interesting.
We followed up with ice cream at Court's hangout, the Dairy Godmother.
And then it rained really hard so some of us bailed out and drove home.

I like GW's little farm and I would like to see that Masonic Temple someday. Hard rain is a recurring theme this summer.
