Say What...

Not much happening.  Actually that isn't true.  Lots is happening.  Gymnastics, piano, YW, scouts, playdates, birthday parties, skiing, book club, doctor appointments, laundry, recipe group, homework, homework, and more homework.  But you know, no pictures have been taken in the month of January and the first few days of February.  But I thought I better blog anyway, since this is my only record of our families goings on.  So here are some gems:
Anders:  I cried at school today.
Me: Why?
Anders: Because our teacher announced we were having PE and I was so happy I burst into tears.
(Underfunded schools means all extras have been cut.  Boo. This was the first time they'd had PE since he started school here.)

Clara had a friend over yesterday.  After lunch I was going to take them to the park.
Clara to friend:  Hey handsome, you ready to go?

What else?  The kids have discovered Brian Reagan on You Tube.  Lots of quoting going on.

And now I wish I'd written more stuff down, because my mind is blank.

So glad you got this much down. These are the things I love to remember. And, I should definitely introduce my kids to Brian Regan--good idea!

p.s. That Clara! She slays me!

Anders' grandpa tears up over the strangest things -- maybe it's genetic. And Clara -- what can I say? Looking forward to my visit.

I assume Clara's friend was a young man, ne est ce pas?

I heard the Anders story third hand. It must have been on Facebook. I'm glad you are all busy and involved. I expected no less.

Love the PE thing. Such a tenderheart.

Love that Clarice is such a flirt. You're going to have your hands full. Good luck with that.

and p.s. "Born to Run" is AMAZING!!! Thanks so much for the recommendation. It's seriously killing me and it is the greatest thing to read while healing.

SO great. As Court said, Clarice is quite the flirt. And that story about Anders is one of my favorites. I love it. It's at least tied with "Now I have all the talents in the world except singing and dancing!"
