Our final day in Moab was spent in Arches. We had hoped to brave The Fiery Furnace, but all the passes were sold out, so we had fun instead on the Primitive Loop trail of the Devil's Garden to Double O Arch. It is a great hike. There was one part that challenged my chicken liver nature, but I overcame and we completed the hike. It was beautiful and again Clara did a stellar job on such a long and difficult hike. Posing along the way really helps her.
This was a fun "jog" Rob and I took out to see Broken Arch. We ran the whole way because the kids refused to get out of the car. And Rob of course had to climb up on it. This was our finale and after this we drove back to Provo.
The following day the kids decided they hadn't had enough hiking (except Clara who had definitely had more than enough) and went up to the Y. It was a cloudy and pretty day and Rob and kids had a good time, even if Coaster the dog wasn't particularly setting a good pace.

What an amazing amount of hiking you've done! Love it!
Love the hiking, love the red rock, love your children, love Clara's sassy posing, love you people, love it all. Seriously jealous. I was going through old pictures last night and came across pics of the same hike... it's a good one. Think we can duck down to Southern Utah on June 23?
You are building great memories for those kids. Well done.

P.S. The lens on my camera was dirty when you got back. That's not a complaint; I cleaned it with no problem. But some of your photos shooting into the light have some blurry bits. I'm sorry I didn't clean it before I sent it off on your adventures. That also begs the question of how your camera is doing. Did it ever get fixed?

P.P.S. My camera also tends to overexpose a bit. That is easily corrected in iPhoto by editing, selecting the "adjustment" button, and then moving the "levels" the right. You probably already know that.

What an amazing hike! Clarice is such a card. Love the pictures of Rob hanging from the lip and on top of the arch. The kids are looking so grown-up!
