Happy Birthday Rob

Last week was Rob's birthday.  The thing about Rob is he is amazing.  Lately I have been feeling guilty.  I get to go run(often with friends), take Clara to the park (where I hang out with friends), go to all the kids activities, spend the day at Tahoe, etc.  And then there is Rob's life.  He gets up between 5 and 6.  Goes to work.  Works hard at an extremely stressful job (not his favorite).  Gets home at 6 or 7.  Eats dinner.  Helps with the dishes.  Puts the kids to bed.  Studies or watches TV for a bit.  Goes to bed.  Repeat.  Often this is on Saturday's too.  Lately it seems he has had to forgo all his hobbies and interests to support our family. It's not a fair deal at all.  Pregnancy ruined my body, granted, but he is sacrificing his life to some stupid career so we can eat and travel and buy crap.  I truly appreciate his sacrifice (and hope his life improves).  It's a pretty self less thing he does every day.  I am sure if it weren't for us he would be a forest service ranger or something like that.  We love you Rob.  He is an incredible person and his kids worship him.  He has earned that worship.  Happy Birthday.  Hope next year is better!
