A couple of years ago Emily sent out an email and encouraged all of us to commit to a Taylor gathering at Disneyland in the fall of 2012. And so all the SKT's and DAT's (minus Will and Jamie) descended on Anaheim a couple of weeks ago for a fun filled 3 days at the "Happiest Place on Earth." We drove down on a Wednesday and were the last to arrive. Everyone went poolside the first evening. It was a large group!
Dinner with all the DAT's at Bucco De Bepo was raucous and fun:
Everyone met in the lobby the next morning to catch the shuttle to the park. I think everyone was a little more than excited:
Before entering we made sure to get a picture of all the kiddos with the awesome bags Emily and my Mom made for everyone. Pretty awesome:
Finally we made it through the gates where we stopped for the mandatory photos:
Pop-pop had a gimpy knee and so got to be pushed around:
Everyone (minus Uncle and Ann):
After this everyone split up into smaller groups and Rob, Anders, Clara, Emily, Lizzy, Jayson and I headed to Fantasyland. Lucy and Tucker headed to Frontierland for Splash mountain. Lucy was not a fan.:
One thing about Clara is she LOVED the characters. She collected lots of autographs. We waited a lot (A LOT) for autographs. Good thing I love Clara, because all that waiting was definitely not my favorite part of Disneyland:
When we hit the princess line Anders and Rob and Jayson took off. I think for more of the Matterhorn:
Clara and Lizzy enjoyed teaching Merida how to dance. She was very cute with the girls:
Here are some pictures lifted from my Dad's blog of the other group:
We all reunited at the Hungry Bear for lunch:
And then we all split again. Our morning crew reconvened for Frontierland:
Everyone met up again in Tomorrowland for Space mountain and the other rides:
Our kids wanted to revisit some of the Fantasyland rides before we met everyone for dinner:
Most headed over to CA adventure after dinner to check out Carsland at night. We were headed that way but got sidetracked by the parade which Clara (and the rest of us) greatly enjoyed:
The first day was a great success. The twins on the way back to the room for a good nights rest before the next day in the park:

Ah, so cute, your fam! That picture of Clarice and Andersonian holding hands warmed my little heart. So funny that Clarice loved the characters so much. Glad day 1 was good! (Since I think I have an inkling of what's coming...)
Fun post. I have robbed it blind for a DVD. Keep it up.
D.
Looks so fun! All I remember from our visit when Court was 5 was that she was too little for most of the rides. It seems so much bigger now -- especially all the characters.
Love it and I'm totally jealous. I'm with Whit, the cockles of my heart are greatly warmed by the phote of Clara and Anders holding hands. Cute lil family.
