There were so many events that needed their own post, but here is the official post for the family visit. Everyone arrived Wednesday, as reported earlier and we rushed off to the kid's zone concert (see post below). Thursday Whit, Pod, and Rob hit the slopes. They had a wonderful time. I spent the day as a chaperone for Lucy's orchestra at a string's festival and Tutu and Ever spent some quality time. After the kids got home from school we enjoyed a little walk along Thomas Creek.
The boy's crossed the creek to see what they could see from the other ridge:
On Friday I woke up feeling slightly nauseous, so I passed up on the day's activity. The peeps went to Virginia City. I was very sad to miss it, but slept almost the entire time they were gone so I felt better in time for the Clarice birthday festivities. I am just so glad no one else got sick (Tucker had it first, then Lucy got it too). I think Rob forgot the camera, this is the only pic I have, stolen from Whit's blog:
On Saturday we headed up to beautiful Tahoe. It was a lovely day and we just spent time on the beach enjoying the warmth, the view, and the company. Ever loved it and is the politest child on the planet. "Where is Anders? I want to throw sand at Anders," she said sweetly. It was pretty cute.:
Ever entertained us by flashing her diapers:
The next day was Sunday. We went for a nice walk in the morning, then got ready for church and Tucker's ordination (which will be a separate post). For dinner we ate something yummy, but I can't remember what it was. Before church the boys made this lego man:
After church we walked down to the playground:
These guys rode their bikes instead of walking:
We enjoyed many a walk during the visit, not sure which one this was, but it can be representative of them all:
It was fun to have everyone and we are so glad they came!

It was wonderful! Skiing, Tahoe, weather, walks, park, orchestra, birthday party, ordination, ping pong. Can't believe all we fit into our visit! Thanks for being such great hosts. Couldn't have been better. (And the picture of me by the lake should be my inspiration to lose some weight!)
You have been a busy blogger. I am glad to get caught up with your life adventures. It all looks wonderful.
D.
Loved it! Thanks again. And I am never allowed to blog before you. I had to go back and revise my blog to include all your great pictures.
How fun! Major fomo happening. That lake never gets old, I can't believe how giant your kids are (is Lucy taller than you!?), and I miss the west. Can't wait for the reunion!
beautiful pictures! We are dying to come visit!
