Fall Break: Monterey and More

Our day started out with a drive by of John Steinbeck's childhood home in Salinas.  I sure do love Mr. Steinbeck.
Next up was Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium which is always good fun:

The entrance line was kinda long so Lucy braided Tron's hair for him:

One of the funnest parts is watching the sea lions and otters out in the bay:

We stopped at the Carmel Mission, where a wedding was taking place.  I love the California missions.

We then hit the beautiful Point Lobos:

We took a drive through Carmel where not one ugly building exists and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

So beautiful! Sad I didn't make it to all these places, I need to go back. Love the mission. And love Clara's joker face at the mission. Also love Point Lobos. Must visit.
