Clara's birthday fell during the older kid's first week of spring break. We thought we could take off, but not a chance. Clara's birthday was crammed with events she couldn't miss. The morning started off with a duet with her friend S. during the talent show. Pretty awesome.
Next came the Eygpt fair and Eygpt play. Clara was the main part, with more lines to memorize than I could ever pull off. She did awesome and is actually a pretty good and natural actress.
For the Egypt fair she and her friend L. studied mummification and they even had a demo where they pulled organs out with a hook. Ew.
Her friend I. made her a necklace.
Presents were grand. Archery, unicycle, and more.
She requested homemade chicken pot pie, and I was happy to oblige. Yum.
It took her six tries to get the candles blown out!!! Pretty funny.
We missed Lucy who was on a college tour trip, but she sent her love to Clara via Snapchat.
Clara is the family extrovert, is kind, fun, and brave. We love her!!!
