Cousin Camp Prep

Rob and boys arrived in town and we got dinner at Cubby's (the boys went climbing with Madi and her boyfriend).  And it was time to buckle down and prep for our Harry Potter cousin's camp.  HOURS and HOURS of prep happened, mostly on the front porch.  It was seriously so much work, but it was also so much fun to have hours and hours of chatting on the porch while we worked.  We made wands, fudge boxes, letters of acceptance, clues, chalices, candles, and more.  So much work.  Did I mention that?

These wands were super fun to make.  I loved making them.  A fun creative effort and I'm not crafty at all, but this was good fun.

These candles were for the Great Hall feast in Em's backyard
We had to make horcruxes as well.  So much spray painting.

A haircut happened between prep

The Hogwarts invitations were delivered to the kids with much excitement.

I'll have to reread the books to figure this all out!
