Fourth of July 2018

The day began with the 5K.  It was good fun as usual, Harry and Clara took off and were not to be seen again until after the race.  I tried to catch up to no avail. 

We breakfasted at Emily's house. 

An epic water fight followed.  And we were all reminded of Millie's very competitive streak. 

 A lovely picnic with potato salad and baked beans took place in Uncle and Annie's backyard oasis.

After lunch a small group of us went up to Brickerhaven and hiked to the falls.  It is the most beautiful place in the world.  Love it. 

 Anders braved the beaver pond.  Wow, I do believe it was a bracing dunk.

 Got to see some of the HDT's which was fun.

Cousin relays and homemade ice cream a la auntie Em. 

 
The fireworks were very exciting this year as they misfired into the crowd!
