Thanksgiving Point has $2 Tuesdays during August so we planned to go down to the Dinosaur Museum. Fortunately the line for the museum wrapped clear around the building so we decided to check out the garden instead. I am so glad we did! Why have I not been here before? I loved it. I love a beautiful garden just about more than anything in the world and so this really hit the spot. It was gorgeous. The kids had a blast too. They got to run wild in the maze, play in fountains (next time we will bring swim suits), roll down hills, and run around. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. (I am afraid, however, that it made me long for Kew. How are you gonna keep 'em down on the farm once they've seen Paris?)

My kids love it there and I do too! I think my brother and his wife are sick of me always suggesting the gardens as a place to meet between our two houses. =) You should try Red Butte too!
Glad you had fun.
Looks way fun! Dont you hate/love that everything makes you miss England?
Wow, wonderful photos. Sounds great.
I didn't know they had gardens there. Beautiful!
Looks beautiful! I need to get down there one of these days. So did you see the "largest manmade waterfall in the country"?
so pretty! also, i had to tell you that you were TOTALLY right about pottytraining. we tried with sophie for about 1.5 days and gave up. maybe i'm just a wimp, but it was seriously miserable. not so much for sophie, but for tom and i. :) at least i don't feel like we tramatized her. maybe we'll try again in a couple months. big maybe. :)
You always do the coolest things with your kids. We should all go to Red Butte one Saturday when it is not hot, like two months from now or something.
This looks so great! I haven't been there since, like, the weekend that they first opened. Looks like they've really done a lot. I'll have to put this on our to-do list for next year's visit. Maybe you can meet us there since it's half-way! :)
Great action shot of Clara. No wonder that baby smelled of chlorine.
D.
Great idea. Something I haven't thought to do with my kids...I need to keep that in mind! Too bad school has started and we can't take advantage of the Tuesday deal.
beautiful!
