During the interim of the move the kids and I flew to Utah while Rob attended a mammography conference (yawwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnn) in Phoenix. One of the first orders of business was to walk over to Ollie and Meg's to see the adorable new puppy, Coaster and the bunny, Bun-Bun. I have to say, Coaster is so cute you just want to eat him up, but my kids are now OBSESSED with getting a puppy. In fact they have been begging pretty incessantly lately. They wrote the following declaration, "We the Hastings children, in order to form a more perfect family do ordain and establish that we need a puppy." They signed it and submitted it to us. Did it work? Umm, do you think I'm that weak?

So how long will you be able to hold out?
That declaration is hilarious. Your kids are so clever.
I dread the day my kiddies are dying for a pet.
Puppies are very adorable, but they always grow up to be hairy, smelly, yappy, dogs. So I'm with you, no dogs. But they should get something for their cleverness.
Little guy is cute, but he is a chewer: hared on computer cords.
D.
That puppy is the cutest thing I've ever seen. But turns out puppies grow up. Good luck with that.
