California Part 2

The next day began with some sort of movie.  The weather was beautiful and we drove over to the beach (unfortunately wearing our haole attire which led to chafing and serious mess) for a nice morning.  The sand was glittering gold.  Kinda weird but cool.

Then we tried our hand at tennis.  I haven't tried since jr. high P.E. class and it was SO fun.  I now have a goal to learn to play tennis.  I got so into it I fell and ripped my jeans...so perhaps some lessons are in order.  The kids loved it.

After tennis and some Chinese food it was Christmas Carols.  Pod is a magician on the piano.  He can play anything.  Pretty fun and festive.

The next morning Jim made some pretty amazing belgian waffles.  Their kitchen and main room is even under construction so it was all the more appreciated under the harsh cooking climate.

Following breakfast baby Ever was blessed.  We were so glad we got to be there for it.  She is a lucky little girl to have such great parents and a wonderful life ahead of her.  Can't wait to watch her grow up!

We had to take off right after the blessing so we could make it home in time to lure Santa to our home.  It was sad to leave and we had a really great time.  Happy to be back near more family!!!!

Thanks so much for coming! I am very glad you put our tennis courts to use. Put that on your list of reasons to come again.
