Utah Trip: Cousin's Camp Day One

It had been a few years so we decided it was high time to put on another Cousin's Camp.  We were really sad Ollie and Meg weren't around.  But those that were there had a grand time.  The day started with a hike to Battle Creek Falls in PG and then lunch and playtime at a park.  Next was swimming at the rec. center, and then dinner at Pop-pops.  The night concluded with a dance party in Em's backyard.  Some were more into that than others.  I believe Lucy is her Father's daughter in this account too.

(this boy REFUSES to smile in pictures.  I almost got it.  In fact I will count this as a successful attempt to thwart his life goal).

 Blue Steel baby:

Trying to stay cool in the shade.  Almost succeeding:

When the heat was too much they retreated to the shade:
Lizzy was worn out from the day's earlier festivites.  A true homebody, sometimes too much fun is exhausting:
Tiff provided a huge back of saltwater taffy.  It was a huge, unexpected hit:
In fact I believe Millie may be chewing on a cinnamon taffy in this pic:
 Almost the whole crew:
The whole crew minus Bea, who doesn't like to follow the crowd:
So I had to sneak this one to compensate:
While waiting for the Little Ceaser's to show up the kids watched an episode of Amazing Race in preparation for Day 2 of cousin's camp:
At the dance party there were observers:
 some luke warm participants:
And then there are the full on let it all go.  Now there are some pics I am a bit hesitant to share, because maybe I'm not entirely graceful, but it was a blast.  And just for the record I don't think there is anything on earth Clara loves more than a dance party with her enthusiastic aunts and cousins:

 Still not tempted:

How fun! Miss those Utah hikes and that must seriously be the most fun thing ever for the kids.

Such a fun, wonderful thing you Taylor cousins do. Lucy and the anti-dancing = pretty funny.
