The End of November

Grammy and Pop-pop arrived in town just in time for Grandparents day at Prep.  Anders jazz band class performed for the event and they all ate lunch with our friend's lovely parents.

Clara prepped for Lucy's arrival. They were to be roommates.

Thanksgiving prep began.
We happily retrieved Lulu from the airport

And it was her birthday so we drove up to Rancho de Chimayo for dinner which was super delish.
On the way home we passed a lantern festival.
At home presents were opened and Lucy blew out NINETEEN candles.  How did this happen?

This boy and his dog.

Thanksgiving Day was filled with cooking and Wii games and Christmas Prep.

Rob was supposed to be working all the live long day but a kind colleague offered to cover for him for a couple of hours so he could join our feast.  He carved the turkey and it was a really big treat that he was with us.
The food did not disapoint.

The Friday after T-giving was the Santa Fe Plaza tree lighting, a fun new tradition for us.
Pop-pop was very important taking calls from his people during the festivities.

 "God bless us, everyone."
We enjoyed a walk or two on the trails with Pop-pop and an episode or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or who can keep track of Great British Baking Show.

All in all a lovely and wonderful holiday.  So glad Lucy and Grammy and Pop-pop were here!
