Happy Super Tuesday
Rob found this great website yesterday. It is called procon.org and it lets you look at each candidates platform, or compare each candidates platform by issue. It is pretty helpful if you are having a hard time knowing what each candidate thinks or where they stand on the issues near and dear to your heart. The issue nearest and dearest to my heart is the environment. This is because I love my children, and plan on loving my grandchildren as dearly as I love my children. I want us to get our act together for them. Here is a good guide to which candidates pass the green test. May the best man win (and note I didn't say woman there!).

THANK YOU for the procon website. It was very helpful. And Here-Here! in regards to the best human of the male variety winning :)
Thanks for your help Anna. I plan on checking it out.
Thanks Anna. The EnviroWonk link was decent. The Democrats clearly care more about the environment (well, until we figure out what McCain is actually trying to say), but it seems they only want to approach it through regulation.
The environmental problem is a global one (not just an American one) as free market economies continue to take root globally and form ONE big market. I think this problem needs to be approached through market forces. Someone needs to figure out how to continue to spread prosperity through a global market while making the market as sustainable as it is vibrant. The current dynamics of the market rely too much on rabid, toxic consumerism.
There has to be a way to allow for less-restricted entrepreneurialism that doesn't require the rabid consumption and then land-filling of resources we are watching right now. I kind of wish I were working on a PhD in economics. That would have actually been useful.
We need politicians that can approach the environment from a global leadership position with an understanding of how market forces can create sustainability. Simple regulation and centralized control just won't cut it.
Thanks for the links. Very excited to participate in Super Tuesday today! It's our ward's bookgroup tonight, but I'm totally wanting to skip to stay home and watch the results come in. (Well, the alternative is to go to book group and hear all the women rave about Romney and complain about everyone else. Ugh.)
