Beware All You Germaphobes

If like me you are not an enthusiastic enforcer of handwashing and bathtime, relax, you are just helping your kids.  Read this.  Glad to know my low hygiene standards are contributing to my children's well being.  Also, in my quest to be more earth friendly I stopped buying anti-bacterial soap and soap in bottles and just use a bar of soap, a soap dish, and water.  I feel justified.

So will you be getting "two dogs and a cat"?

That picture of bacteria or whatever it is exactly gives me the jibbilies....

My uncle swears that he caught me on my hands and knees over a pile of dog crap...eating it...when I was a baby. I deny it! But that may explain my health.

That's a great article. We mustn't mess with Mother Nature.

I stopped hovering and telling little people "no" or "don't do that" all the time just because I felt like a nag. I also remember eating dog food, ants, and some dirt very purposefully as a child, I'm ok, or at least I think I am.:)

Eat dirt and live! Works for me.

I'm a huge germaphobe, now that I have kids anyways. But back in the day I hated brushing my teeth, and ate ants and dog food... go figure!

I just hate how messy the bar of soap is. So even if it is better I am still going to stick with my pump soap. At least my kids wash their hands....right?
