Moved

For weeks and weeks I've been packing and sorting and boxing and organizing and stressing and agonizing.  Moving is a monumental undertaking and it has been a lot of work.  It's not been easy.  The tears that have been shed and the heartache of saying goodbye to so many wonderful people that have become good friends was really painful.  I don't know if I've ever experienced as much mommy guilt in my entire life as when I've watched my kids say goodbye to friends and fabulous teachers.  Seriously.  It was brutal

But..........we did it. We (with a lot of help from some pretty great neighbors and ward members) got the job done.  And we left Virginia (many many many tears were shed) and moved on to a new adventure:

And so far....I think it is going to be pretty great.  The kids like their new school.  We LOVE our new yard, and the house has some quirks, and space issues, but is going to do the job until we find a place to buy.  Our new ward seems like it is going to be super great (our old ward was phenomenal and this one may be just as good. An answer to prayer).  When I think about all the people and places we left behind I get really sad and it is hard, but when I focus on the here and now and what is to come I feel very excited and ultimately at long last I think I can say, yup, we should move to Reno.  It's the right decision.  That answer has been a long time coming!
(Lots of adventures to catch up on...I may do a ton of posts tomorrow.  Not having internet has been a hassle and headache.  But we're back in business, so stay tuned).
