On our first Sunday, after church, we had some time to drive up to Tahoe. First we went for a walk around Spooner Lake. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Clara was sure we were lost the entire way. "How do you know we aren't lost?" "Because we are on the trail and it goes around the lake and we can see the lake the whole way." "But how do you know we aren't lost?"
After Spooner Lake we stopped at a beach on Tahoe at sunset. Beautiful. And man, what a difference a week makes in temperature. Stay tuned and you'll see our next FREEZING Tahoe adventure.

Beautiful area. Almost like Utah.
So glad you did not get lost!
Loving it! And I want some of those giant pine cones...woah!! The only time I've been to Spooner Lake was in the winter and we went xcountry skiing around it. It's gorgeous then too.
Pretty! I'm excited to visit sometime. All those years in CA, and I've never been to Tahoe.
That picture of you (Ann Marvin) and Lu is so cute. And those really are some giant pine cones!
Spooner Lake looked a bit different with snow. The sunset photos are very nice.
