Tucker's 17th (!!!!!) birthday

March was a bit of a madness at our house.  Lots of traveling and juggling.  Rob had a conference in Hawaii on Tucker's birthday so we celebrated the Friday before.  The kids didn't have school and went climbing.  I made a blood orange bundt cake.  It was ok.  Not the best. Clara nearly divorced me.  I got up quite early to make it and didn't wake her.  Not cool.  And so she got to frost it.

Dinner was delicious sushi and Sushiland East.

 Home for cake and presents.

Hard to believe it has been 17 years.  Time flies by so rapidly it is leaving me dizzy lately.
For T's actual birthday Clara came through with homemade Nutella macarons in a handmade box.

I am glad you found a good sushi place, the one we went to was a bust. AND, macarons? Such a deal! Are they hard; I assumed they were because they cost so frickin' much.

So crazy. Happy birthday, dude. Can't believe he's a man. Again, I would really like to try one of these cakes of yours.
